Beaverdam Creek Dam Spillway Replacement project consists of improving the access road into the dam, removing the existing 20’ wide concrete spillway and replacing it with a 50’+ wide stepped concrete spillway with stilling basin. The new spillway is approximately 280’ long, 50’-65’ wide, and has 2500 CY of concrete. The downstream side of the dam had a new toe drain system installed, along with new piezometers to monitor water flow. Approximately 8,000 CY of earthfill was placed on the backside of the dam to strengthen the dam.
